QM Plastic Push Pull Connector Range
QM plastic push pull connectors provide lightweight and secure connections for medical devices, diagnostic systems, electrophysiology equipment, laboratory instruments and other precision applications. The portfolio covers 0P, 1P, 2P, 3P and 4P sizes, with both plug and receptacle configurations available according to the selected series and interface.
Standard and customized layouts support configurations from 0 to 78 contacts. We can also provide anti-mismating keying, housing identification, high-temperature-resistant materials, biocompatible material options, hybrid transmission and connector-matching cable assemblies for application-specific projects.

Features of QM Plastic Connectors
Five Standard Sizes
0P, 1P, 2P, 3P and 4P series are available for different equipment dimensions, panel spaces and contact-density requirements, from miniature handheld devices to complex multi-channel medical systems.
High-Density Contacts
Standard and customized layouts support configurations from 0 to 78 contacts, allowing several weak-signal, sensing or control channels to be organized within one compact circular interface.
Medical Material Options
Selected configurations can use materials suitable for applications involving temperatures up to 134°C. Biocompatible material options are also available when required by the medical device project.
Plug and Socket Forms
The product range includes cable-mounted plugs and fixed receptacles. Matching configurations can be selected according to equipment panels, cable direction, installation depth and operating requirements.
How QM Plastic Push Pull Connectors Work?
QM plastic push pull connector plugs and receptacles use an axial mating and self-latching structure, allowing users to complete secure connections without rotating a threaded coupling.

Align the Keying
Align the plug key with the corresponding receptacle guide before insertion. The defined keying orientation helps the plug enter in the correct direction and can reduce mismating when several similar connector interfaces are installed on the same medical device or equipment panel.

Push to Connect
Push the plug directly into the receptacle along the connector axis. No coupling nut rotation is required, making the connection convenient for compact medical equipment, portable devices and panels where operators need to complete mating quickly within limited installation space.

Lock Automatically
After the plug reaches the correct mating position, the internal self-latching structure engages automatically. The secured connection helps prevent the plug from separating because of normal equipment movement, accidental contact or direct pulling force applied to the connected cable.

Pull to Release
To disconnect the connector, pull the designated release sleeve on the plug. This action disengages the locking structure and allows the plug to be removed directly from the receptacle without twisting the connector body or pulling forcefully on the cable.
Plastic Connectors for Medical Equipment
Our plastic push pull connectors can be configured around equipment size, contact count, signal type, cable structure, sterilization conditions and connection frequency.
Patient Monitoring Systems
Patient monitors, bedside monitoring platforms, portable diagnostic units and rehabilitation equipment often use several compact interfaces for sensors, accessories and control signals. Our plastic push pull connector plugs and receptacles provide quick axial mating, secure self-latching and clear keying options. Different sizes and contact layouts allow the connection to be matched to portable devices, multi-port panels or frequently handled cables while helping reduce connector weight and simplify daily clinical operation.

MRI/MRT and CT Systems
Diagnostic imaging systems such as MRI/MRT and CT equipment require organized connections between consoles, accessory modules, detectors, control panels and supporting devices. Plastic housings can help reduce connector weight and provide electrical insulation, while high-density or hybrid layouts can consolidate several signal paths. Because MRI environments impose special magnetic and electromagnetic requirements, the complete connector, contacts, cable and assembly must be reviewed and validated for the specific installation before use.
Intracardiac Ultrasound
Intracardiac ultrasound systems may require compact interfaces between catheter-side assemblies, signal acquisition modules and imaging consoles. QM can evaluate multi-contact or coaxial-plus-signal hybrid configurations when high-frequency transmission and auxiliary control channels must share one interface. Push-pull locking supports quick connection during equipment preparation, while keying and color identification can help distinguish ports. Final electrical performance, sterilization method and cable construction should be confirmed during project development.

Bronchoscopy and Endoscopy
Fiber bronchoscopes, endoscopy platforms and minimally invasive instruments need small, lightweight connections that can be operated quickly around compact equipment. The 0P and 1P plastic series can support space-constrained interfaces, while larger series provide additional contacts when more signals are required. Plug and receptacle combinations, cable matching and anti-mismating keying can be configured according to the device layout, cleaning process and expected connection frequency.

EP Mapping and Ablation
Electrophysiology mapping and ablation systems collect and transmit multiple weak signals while coordinating control and treatment functions. QM 3P and 4P plastic connector platforms support high-density layouts, including 26-contact and 78-contact examples, helping reduce the number of separate interfaces. Custom signal, coaxial or high-low-voltage combinations can also be evaluated. Secure self-latching and precise keying support reliable operation during repeated setup and clinical use.
Artificial Heart Support
External artificial-heart controllers, cardiac assist equipment and related test or monitoring systems may require dependable power, signal and control connections in a compact format. QM can review plastic plug-and-receptacle configurations and hybrid layouts for supporting equipment outside the implanted portion. Contact count, current, voltage, fail-safe design, sterilization, cable strain relief and applicable medical standards must be defined and validated by the equipment manufacturer before integration.

Advantages of QM Plastic Push Pull Connectors
Complete Interconnection Platform
QM provides plastic connector plugs, fixed receptacles and matching cable assemblies across the 0P–4P range. Customers can select standard products or request adjustments to contact layouts, keying, housing identification, cable specifications and transmission combinations. This enables the connector pair and cable system to be developed around the equipment rather than treated as separate components.
Secure Push-Pull Locking
The plug locks automatically after correct insertion and is released through the designated outer sleeve. This operating method supports fast mating while helping reduce unintended separation caused by equipment movement or accidental cable pulling.
Flexible Signal Integration
Contact layouts can be configured for signal, control or compact power requirements. Customized hybrid solutions can also combine electrical, optical, coaxial, high-low-voltage, fluid-electric or pneumatic-electric transmission within one connector interface.
Application-Specific Materials
High-temperature-resistant and biocompatible material options are available for suitable medical projects. Material selection should be based on sterilization temperature, exposure duration, cleaning chemicals, required cycles and the finished equipment’s compliance requirements.

From Requirements to Production
QM supports plastic push pull connector projects from initial requirement review to plug-and-receptacle selection, cable integration, sample confirmation and production preparation.
Interface Requirement Review
Our team reviews the available installation space, panel opening, mating direction, contact count, signal type, current, voltage and operating environment. Customers can provide equipment drawings, existing connector information or physical samples so the basic interface requirements can be identified before selecting a standard or customized plastic connector solution.
Connector Pair Configuration
Based on the equipment interface, QM evaluates suitable 0P, 1P, 2P, 3P or 4P configurations. The plug, fixed receptacle, contact layout, keying orientation, housing identification and material options can be coordinated to create a properly matched connector pair for the intended medical or precision equipment application.
Cable Assembly Integration
After the plug and receptacle are selected, cable length, conductor arrangement, cable diameter, shielding, soldering, strain relief and equipment-side termination can be reviewed together. This allows the connector and cable assembly to be developed as one integrated interconnection solution rather than being sourced and validated separately.
Sample Testing and Production
Samples can be used to verify dimensional matching, mating operation, keying direction, installation fit and cable termination before production. After the selected configuration is confirmed, QM can proceed with connector manufacturing, cable assembly and related production preparation according to the approved project requirements.
